Why Nobody plays rematch, It's SO DRILLS ME!

I don't understand why people bother others, who don't want a rematch. Some people don't have a lot of time, or prefer to play just many different opponents, whatsoever. No need to be angry about that in my opinion, just move on and find a new opponent!
Well, in classical and even in blitz you could argue no time to play more, but in bullet it's kinda rare. Still 9/10 players in bullet don't play rematches.

Why are rematches so rare?

I got to where I am by always wanting a rematch. So to me it looks like 9/10 players lack true desire to battle.

To the select few who play 20 game streaks vs the same opponent, my respect to you! These are always epic battles of will power and also epic explorations of different lines of the openings.

@NoLuckOnlySkill Yeah, I agree with you. On fast time controls, I'll usually play about 3 games in a row with the same opponent. On slower time controls, however, like 15+15 or 10+0 I'll usually only play the one game.
I don't play rematches because my opponents have a real propensity for playing about 1500-2000 rating points stronger in the second game when they lost the first. If I play someone new, they aren't nearly as tempted to "improve" like that.

Also, another lesser motivation is that I don't like to encourage people to take games personally. I don't see why it should matter whether your opponent is named jollyrancher16 or mulberrybush48 unless you are taking the result personally.
I often don't like to play rematches because after most games I like to take a break.
I find the best way to get rematches, is to strike up conversation first, and create rapport.

Then more likely person will enjoy a second game knowing it's friendly.

I often wish more rematches would occur... I sometimes feel it would be more interesting to play same person a few times. Especially if game was a narrow victory.
@DunnoItAll

You are right, people play way better the 2nd game.

Sometimes the 1st game is the first game of the day for the opponent, a warm up.

Rest of the time the opponent uses more will power in the 2nd game (because they lost the 1st) which means much stronger play.

Also it takes a few games to adjust to an opponent, 1st game you just see the first glimpse to the style of the opponent, the more games you play, the more you can adjust your style to counter theirs.

Also it takes a few games to see which opening lines the opponent is good with and then start playing the ones where he is not so comfortable.

With hit and run tactics you might get a higher rating that you would (or should) have. But why you would prefer a higher rating over true battle of wills, wit and adjustment is unknown to me.

I say a 1900 player who knows how to adjust to an opponent is a better chess player than a 2200 player who doesn't know how to win a rematch.
I avoid rematches because I prefer to analyse my games immediately after they end.
