Sorry for another study thread - I'm going to play around 12-13 over the board games this season, I'm planning on putting them all in a single study (one chapter per game), updating as soon as I can after the game so I can get my thoughts down straight away.
My first game of the season was tonight the time control was all moves in 80 minutes, and my opponent's FIDE rating was 2163.
He surprised me in the opening, but I managed to get to a playable position. I was pretty happy with the way I played, until we ended in a massive time scramble - where fortunately
a) I managed to find a way to win, and
b) I didn't record the moves for posterity...
