An advice for boiling spaghetti

You don't need to hit them. It would be enough to break them with your hands ( it are not made of steel) XD

You can save extra time by eating them raw and drink the boiling water afterwards.

Only flour. There aren't eggs in spaghetti. Except spaghetti carbonara, œuf course.
