Players with multiple accounts, why do you do it?

As the title states I'm just curious as to the motivations of players who are constantly creating new accounts. As an example if you search the username jakubsmetana you will find 10+ accounts.

If you are a known player, it can be fun to hide your identity.

But mostly it's an ego/pride thing :D you basically come up with clever names and play them to a high rating. Wor example create BowToYourMaster, or U2SLOW for bullet or what ever :D

You can also use the names to troll your "enemies".

I don't bother making new names anymore but it was alot of fun like 10 years ago , enjoy if you still like it ^^

lolz jimj12, I've shed so many tears over this, I can understand known players having an anonymous account, but not sure about the rest. For me it's nice to be able to have my few trophies and meager accomplishments documented on one account. Just wondering if people had valid reasons as opposed to trolling/smurfing.
