According to my Favorite Opponents page, I have not played anyone more than 5 times. (

However looking at the crosstable from my last game (
http://en.lichess.org/PSXNcEEz6liO) I've played gerpatagonia 9 times. That player doesn't even seem to appear in the favorite opponents list!
I suspect there are plenty of other players I've played a lot more times than are shown on the opponents page as well.
Is the page not updated any more or what?
When I look at your favorite opponent page, and I put my mouse pointer on the amount of games against your opponents, a thing pops up saying;"Games count over your last 1000 games" Seeing as you've played over 2000 probably 5 of the games against gerpatagonia were before your last 1000 :D

If it doesn't include all my games, I suppose that would explain it.
But in that case I don't find the list very helpful, esp as half of it is made of up people I've only played 2 or 3 times.
Yh, the list is crap. I've played over 15000 games, and it shows my "favourite" opponents in under 7% of my total games.
This is one of the things lichess should be sorting out instead of whacking out yet more variants...
I agree, this list is of no use to me at all, and I honestly can't imagine it being of any use to anyone besides me. It should be really easy to change this, and I don't see why they wouldn't.
That "favorite opponents" feature was working correctly back in the days.
But then they changed the mechanism, trying to save some space on their servers.
Now it become completely broken - only shows for your last 1000 games - totally useless shit.

It's been "temporarily disabled" for a couple of months now.
