jai shriram

Great job, breaking a masjid to build a mandir. And then people really try to defend that religion binds us together. Hinduism acknowledges other religions as equal. If ram was alive, he would feel shame on his followers. And no, I am not a Muslim.
Should we really talk about religious strife and communalism/hatred here?
Edit: Oh yeah, this is the off-topic forum. Sorry!

Anyway, the Indian Prime Minister's religio-political background, the RSS, has the daft idea (so I heard) of evicting all Muslims from India. As @TakeThePawnOrLose said, India (and the whole world!) should try to live together in peace and harmony.

I wish that the things written on our civics books were true.

You're right, it was, by one of the most despised rulers in history (Babur). And now it's happening again, by one of the most despised rulers in history (Modi).

To elaborate, India's the most populated country in the world (it overtook China) with over 1.4 billion people. A significant part (around 20-25%) of India's population is Muslim. Do you think it is possible to evict 300 million people (almost the population of the US) and shove them off into another country?

The temple is the birthplace of ram. This is why Babur broke it and build his masjid there, to show superiority. Then, the Ram bhaktas did the same thing, but not to show superiority.

@TakeThePawnOrLose
Exactly. Do not speak of things you have not bothered to research beyond two articles saying "Modi Bad, Hindu break masjid, so bad, so bad"
The Supreme Court of India passed the decision.

Here's a fun fact for you. The Chief Archaeologist who found the temple under the Masjid was a MUSLIM. He himself said the Mandir should be built there as it is as important to Hindus as Mecca to Muslims. A masjid can be built nearby as it simply another place of worship, not something of the stature of Kaaba.

Muslim Board has been given a nearby plot of land 3-5x times in Area to build a Masjid.

Additionally, Modi may use it for electoral gain, but that is irrelevant to the majority of devotees who are just overjoyed they lived to see this historic day. Plus, the government has not spent any money building this, it has been entirely paid for by donations of devotees.
