No where in the Original Forum Post does the OP say it's him but GM Micheal Adams was born in November of 1971 & is possibly the kid that beat GM Victor Korchnoi when he was touring England

@LexDev @chessfan124 Yeah both are about the same & 4-4 with 14 Draws against eaxh other . Short played at his peak a little earlier & played a Match vs Kasparov

I know about the WC match Nigel Short had against Kasparov. I think it's his highest achievement, although could not trouble the great champion.
But Adams was not able to do better when playing against Kasparov. In terms of rating, Adams is obviously better, but that does not convince me that he is better than Nigel Short.

I AM NOT ADAMS though born in the same year- my only claim to fame in classical chess is entering and finishing near last in an isle of man masters.

i was born 4th of march 1971 thirty years exactly to the date of the infamous nigel short vs icc fischer match because it was set up by my fiancee as a 30th birthday present. I was mainly known as cap78red on icc, known for my menshevikism, and Janice talk.
